The must-see exhibition in Paris these days is Madame Grès at the musée Bourdelle. I just couldn't resist those wonderful dresses, most of which have really not aged at all and I had to start sketching.
It is fascinating to be in presence of a true talent, most of all a lasting talent. Her creations spread over more than fifty years and are intemporal, particularly her dresses from her beginnings, in the silk jersey she commissioned herself to fabric mills.
I am very late on the publishing of these sketches from the Murakami exhibition at the Versailles palace near Paris. But better late than never !
